El sonido de la 'r" y la 'rr'
Spanish R has two pronunciations, called
the TAP and the TRILL.
TAP: The
Spanish R sound is different from the English R.
In Spanish, the tongue hits the gum ridge behind the upper front
teeth as the R sound is being pronounced. Simply tap the
tip of your tongue against the alveolar ridge (the "gum
ridge" just above your upper front teeth).
A good way to learn to pronounce the Spanish
R is to repeat an English word with a double TT
or a double DD:
bitter, hitter, ladder,
madder.
