about a living hornbill during the 24 March 1863 meeting of the Zoological Society of

Mr. Wallace made some remarks on a Hornbill living in the Society's Gardens, which he
believed to be a discoloured specimen of Buceros (Hydrocissa) pica, a common Malaccan
species.
