Teacher recommendation forms

Some of you may ask me for a teacher recommendation. Prior to doing so please be informed that in deciding whether or not to recommend you I will consider several factors.

First, your grade in my course should be at least a "B".

Second, your attendance, punctuality, attitude, and participation in my course should be commendable (e.g., no more than 2 absences or 2 tardies; students with 2 or more absences OR 2 or more tardies will not be recommended).

Third, you should provide answers to the following questions:

1. Which grade and subject area do you hope to teach?
2. Why do you want to be a teacher?
3. If I were a fly on the wall in your classroom (while you were teaching) what would I see you doing during a typical day?

The answers to the three questions should be divulged when you stop by to request that I fill out the form for you (you may also email or call me with answers to the questions).
