Kennings were interesting, but you are ready for the next task.  When class begins, the instructor begins her speech.

"Most of the classes at our academy focus on the true superhero--Beowulf.
However, in our class, we will study Grendel--the ruthless villain.
Grendels can be found everywhere, especially in the news.  All superheroes
must battle their own Grendel."

"Grendels do not have to be a dragon, monster, or superhuman.
Grendel can be a troubling event, a group of people, etc.
For example, your Grendel may be a
group of executives that have decided to shut down a factory at Christmas,
meaning children will not receive gifts for Christmas.  One of  your combat plans may
be to organize a toy drive.  Your plan can be
in a web format.  Be original!"

Today, you will be required to research and find your Grendel by using
popular news websites listed below.
Then, create a combat plan
to battle your Grendel by making a web.  You may use the web provided
or make your own. After you brainstorm, answer the following questions:

Which solution will fight your Grendel the best?
Why do you think the solution will work?
