SOLENODONTIDAE
The Solenodontidae, placed under the Order Soricomorpha, is a small
family of West Indian insectivores represented today by two species,
Solenodon
cubanus (eastern
Cuba), and Solenodon paradoxus (at
scattered locations across the
island of Hispaniola).
