Assignment 1
- The main objectives of this assignment is to master the Adobe Animate fundamentals, and to understand the four principles of animation, Squash and stretch / Anticipation / Staging / and Straight Ahead and Pose to Pose.
- Choose one of the four principles above and select a theme that corresponds to it from this list. The theme for the animation must be selected from the provided list.
- After choosing a theme, type your name in the name field.
- If a topic has already been taken by two people, you must choose a different topic. One topic cannot be chosen by three people.
- It is strongly recommended to use characters with simple geometric shapes.
- The completed animation should be submitted in the following format.

Assignment 2
- The main objective of this assignment is to understand Follow Through and Overlapping /Slow In and Slow Out / Arcs /and Secondary Action.
- Choose one of the four principles above and select a theme that corresponds to it from this list. The theme for the animation must be selected from the provided list.
- After choosing a theme, type your name in the name field.
- If a topic has already been taken by two people, you must choose a different topic. One topic cannot be chosen by three people.

- Choose one of the four principles above and select a theme that corresponds to it from this list. The theme for the animation must be selected from the provided list.
- After choosing a theme, type your name in the name field.
- If a topic has already been taken by two people, you must choose a different topic. One topic cannot be chosen by three people.
- It is strongly recommended to use characters with simple geometric shapes.

Assignment 4 (final)
- Assignment 4-1: Create a character and Storyboard
- The theme for the animation must be selected from this list.
- Create a compelling character with unique personalities and (facial) expressions that will be used on your animation.
- Practice illustrating the character from different angles and animating a sequence of changing facial expressions, and interacting with an object or its environment.
- Develop a visual narrative through storyboards including camera angles and character actions.
- Submission
- Character: Submit your character(s) in any following formats: fla, jpg, png, pdf, ai, psd.
- Storyboard: Use this template and submit your stroyboard in any following formats: jpg, png, pdf, doc, ppt.
- Assignment 4-2: Create an animation
- Your final must adqutely reflect the principles of animation and demonstrates proficiency in Adobe Animate taught in class.
- The completed animation should be submitted in the following format. *Note that you need to submit your work in two different formats. Compress all items below into a zip.
