think
neither Chip nor myself really planned that one day we'd customize a Green
Lantern Corps of our own, but things sometimes fall into your lap.
This team is an example of why I say our animated customs come from some
Hypertime ADCUniverse. All the Green Lanterns come from the early
90's DCU, while the Guardian is from the Animated Superman cartoon.
We ultimately decided not to include our Kyle Rayner in this Hypertime Corps because part of his shtick is that he's the last Green Lantern after this Corps gets killed off (yes, these guys are for the most part dead; don't ask). We felt that including Kyle in the Corps would really take away one of the better things he's got going for him -- being the last GL.
