Critters that live on Dream Catcher Farm

As an animal lover, I surround myself with some of God's most wonderful creatures. The following pictures are some of my favorites.

This is my very first horse, Arnos Impression. She is the first of my dreams come true. She has an attitude, which I think is apparent in this picture!

This is Arnos' baby, Star. I raised and trained her myself and am quite proud of her. She has personality plus! Loves to get into everything and has a look in her eye that says, "What can I get into next????"

This is Star all grown up with her mother.

This is Gold Mont. She was my trail horse and a sweetheart. I lost her in the prime of her life. There will never be another like her. We had a mutual love and trust for each other.

I am lucky enough to have Mont's baby and hope she'll follow in her footsteps.

This is Sundance, my Walking Horse who is my new trail horse. He's a sweetheart and very tall - it's a stretch for me to mount him with my fused ankle!

This is Eddie's horse Katie. She's such a good girl! We love her.

Sugar and Salsa, my two burros. Their job is to guard my fields and keep them free of dogs and coyotes, and they do it well!

Sampson as a puppy (top) and Shadrach. Sampson was a wonderful guard dog but his life was cut short at a young age. Shadrach is my shadow and very special to me. Shadrach got his name from the story in the Bible; he too survived a fire.

Tex is our newest addition. He is big and scary but a total teddy heart.

My guineafowl. They keep my farm free of unwanted critters such as ticks, fleas, June bugs, Japanese Beetles. They are worth their weight in gold, and their antics are hilarious!! In this picture, they're telling me it's time to eat!

Hank and Petunia. They belong to my daughter and think they're human! Petunia has gone over Rainbow Bridge since this picture.

Meet Foghorn. In my estimation, a farm is not a farm without a rooster. Foghorn fills that role at Dream Catcher Farm, and I love the sound of his crows early in the morning. In addition to Foghorn, we several peacocks and turkeys. We're almost a zoo!

Caboose is my miniature mule - 33" (yes, inches!). He has attitude plus and I am his "special person."

I wish you enough......

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.

I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough ‘Hello’s’ to get you through the final Good-byes.
