AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Dr. Kinnersley specializes in government and not-for-profit accounting. His
current research focuses on the communication of governmental financial
information.  Dr. Kinnersley teaches introductory accounting and government
and not-for-profit accounting at the undergraduate level.
 

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Dr. Kinnersley has been a speaker at the "Southwest School of Governmental
Finance" annually since 1994. He has co-presented a half day session on the
"Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statements, 1984-present."
Dr. Kinnersley was a reviewer for the Micro Mash CPA review course in
1992 and 1994. He also assisted in the preparation of continuing professional
education courses authored by Dr. Robert J. Freeman, a member of the
Governmental Accounting Standards Board.  Dr. Kinnersley is a member of
the Kentucky Society of CPAs Governmental Accounting Committee and
serves as a member of the Government Finance Officers Association Special
Review Committee for the Excellence in Financial Reporting program.
