Low-Poly Modeling |
- Low Poly is the aesthetic of 3D models with a low amount of polygons.
- The way modern low poly is utilized as an art form heavily connects to Modernism and its rejection of Realism.
- Low poly art embraces being unique and different from reality, opposing the many games focusing on having the most photorealistic graphics as possible.
- Models that are said to be low poly often appear blocky and simple while still maintaining the basic shape of what they are meant to represent.

Booleans |
You can use the following boolean operations to create a new, complex shape.
A boolean can only happen between two objects.
Delete 'History' when terminating operations.
- Union: Fuses objects together.
- Difference (A-B): Subtracts the second selected object (B) from the first selected object (A).
- Difference (B-A): Subtracts the first selected object (A) from the second selected object (B).
- Intersection: Deletes any surface that is not inside another input object, fusing the remaining interior surfaces.
- Slice: Divides the faces on the first selected object where the input objects intersect, creating separate shells.
- Hole Punch: Removes any surface of the first selected object that is inside any of the other input objects, leaving an open mesh.
- Cut Out: Removes any surface of the first selected object that is outside any of the other input objects, leaving an open mesh.
- Split Edges: Inserts new edges on the first selected mesh along the intersection of the input objects.

Soft Selection |
- is useful for making smooth slopes or contours on your model without having to transform each vertex manually.
- b + MMB to increase or decrease the size of the falloff area.
