- Create a rectangular cube (ocean) and a floater
- Select the ocean > Modeling > Deform > Texture
- Attribute editor > Texture Deformer > Texture: Click the checkerboard > Noise
- noise > Time: =time | If using Ocean, Time = frame/24
- Select both the ocean and the floater
- Animation > Constrain > Geometry
- Select vertices from the ocean then select the floater
- Constrain > Point on Poly
