Nianna Gustovich is a graduate from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Communication and a Master of Arts in Spanish. She has worked in the Texas Public School system for 16 years teaching English, French, and Spanish, including Advance Placement coursework. She is currently working as an adjunct French professor with the University of Texas-Pan American. She obtained her Master's in Education from the University of Texas-Pan American and her Master of Arts in French from the University of North Texas. She is currently a doctoral student in Spanish at the University of Houston with an expected graduation date of 2012. Her hobbies include writing and music as well as photography and scrapbooking.
El sueño del olvido
Bórrame
De tu duda imprescindible,
De tus páginas de pureza
Que tapan mi viento
De inexplicable temblor
Que derrota tu corazón
Y derrama tu sangre.
Bórrame
De tus pensamientos ligeros
Y déjame revolcar en la oscuridad
Para atormentar los sueños
De los que se atreven
A pronunciar sermones vacíos
En la neblina.
Bórrame
De tu claustro
Célula indivisible
Que traza el látigo
De mi cronómetro
Y magnetiza mis
Manos revenadas.
Bórrame
De tu bomba traidora
Engaño de cada mosca
Imperceptible al rayo
De verdad que permea mi ser
Y me hace soñar
De huertas de naranjos.
Bórrame
De tu hueco profundo,
Muy alargado del calor
Que incuba miles de chispas
E ilumina tu rostro increpador
Mientras sigo contando
Ovejas cazuñadas.
