Mandakini "Mandy" Shetty is a beautiful young woman who was fast rising among the ranks of investigative journalists. She is tenacious and eager to uncover secrets. Unfortunately, she uncovered more than she should have. While working on a story in Chicago, she uncovered a link between a string of murders. She had stumbled upon the body disposal of a group of local vampires, and they attempted to eliminate her. With the help of a local detective, she was able to bring down the vampire trio and changed her life forever.

Mandy lost a lot of credibility early on because she attempted to reveal the supernatural to the world. Unfortunately, she was mocked and ignored. Now, she uses her skills to uncover a supernatural presence and assist her cell in hunting down and destroying the monsters. Mandy is not terribly skilled in combat, so she has to rely on others to handle the dirtiest work.

Mandy is a kind individual and tries to help those in need. She often gives money and food to the homeless and rarely has much of value for herself. She is also driven in her hunt and will do anything to uncover information.

Do you have surviving family? Mother? Father? Siblings? Spouse? Do you stay in touch? Yes, mother died of cancer three years ago, father and brother run a string of car washes and convenience stores in Ohio.

What is your biggest fear? Being unprepared to face a supernatural danger.

What makes you laugh out loud? Stand-up comedy.

What makes you angry? The fact that the world is full of supernatural threats and most people dismiss it as fable.

What talent would you most like to have? Military combat training.
