Gunfire at Garage in Redmond Barrens

(IIN) — There were reports of shots fired and a fire at a small garage in Redmond Barrens early this morning. By the time Knight Errant arrived on scene, the fire was out and no one was around. The garage door appeared as if someone had driven through it, and several windows were shot out.

Detective Marty Snerd of Knight Errant states, "There are numerous shell casings all around, and the bricks around the windows are blackened, so there was a fire. There is a significant amount of blood inside the garage, but there are no bodies and no one around. The property is registered to a James Ford, but we do not know if he was present. His current whereabouts are unknown, and we'd like to speak to him. If anyone has any information about Mr. Ford's current location, please contact commcode GTA-CLUE. Investigators have only been on scene for a few minutes, so this story will be updated as more information becomes available.

UPDATE – Knight Errant investigators went to make two arrests in this case. Forensic evidence led to Carmine Bilotti, a man with a long criminal history and association with organized crime. He confessed to breaking into the garage with his associate Salvatore Anselmi when the two got into a fight and shot at one another. Carmine was injured in the exchange and died of his injuries before he could be booked. Salvatore was located by Knight Errant detectives and killed in a violent exchange resisting arrest. Knight Errant is still uncertain the current whereabouts and well-being of James Ford, who is renting the space the men attempted to rob.
