SPECIAL ABILITIES

Explosion (Su) When reduced to 0 hp, explode in 20-ft.-radius burst. Creatures in area take 8d6 fire damage (DC 21 Reflex half). The save DC is Constitution-based.

Illumination (Ex) Your glow sheds normal light in a 30-foot radius and increases light level by one step for an additional 30 feet beyond that area (darkness becomes dim light and dim light becomes normal light). Does not increase the light level in normal light or bright light.

Flyby Attack When flying, can take a move action and another standard action at any point during the move. Cannot take a second move action during a round you make a flyby attack.

Power Attack Take -4 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain +8 bonus on all melee damage rolls. Bonus increased by half (+50%) if attacking with a two-handed weapon or a one-handed weapon using two hands. Bonus halved (-50%) if attacking with an off-hand weapon. You must choose to use this feat before making an attack roll, and its effects last until your next turn. Bonus damage does not apply to touch attacks or effects that do not deal hit point damage.

Precise Shot Shoot or throw ranged weapons at an opponent engaged in melee without taking the standard -4 penalty on your attack roll.

Siege Strike (Ex) Your slam attack deals full damage against objects and structures.

Starflight (Su) Survive in the void of outer space and fly at spelljamming cruising speed, as per a helm. Can carry one or more riders or up to a medium load. Multiple creatures of the same type may achieve starflight speeds together in a herd or school. Although taking no harm in the void, may need to eat, drink, and sleep as normal for creature type.

Twin Assault (Ex) Once per round, when charging, make a spit fire ranged touch attack against the target of the charge at any point during your movement as part of that charge. This ranged attack does not end the charge. At the end of the charge, make slam attack normally at normal +2 bonus on the attack roll for charging.

Evil spellcasters create murder comets by combining the essence of earth elementals with that of fire elementals. A murder comet looks like a screaming stone head wreathed in flame. It trails fire behind it as it flies through Wildspace, either singly or in a posse with other murder comets, looking for ships, crews, and other unsuspecting targets to destroy.

A murder comet's creator can bind their spirit to the comet. In this form, the comet's creator becomes ageless and immortal, free to race across Wildspace without need for air, sleep, or sustenance. The murder comet's face takes on the appearance of its creator's, and its statistics change as follows:

Replace the comet's Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores with those of its creator.
Replace the comet's alignment and languages with those of its creator.
