SPECIAL ABILITIES

Antimagic Gullet (Su) Magical effects, including those produced by spells and magic items but excluding those created by artifacts or deities, are suppressed inside your gullet. Any spell slot or charge expended by a creature in the gullet to cast a spell or activate a property of a magic item is wasted. While an effect is suppressed, it doesn't function, but the time it spends suppressed counts against its duration. No spell or magical effect that originates outside your gullet, except one created by an artifact or a deity, can affect a creature or an object inside.

False Appearance (Ex) When motionless with eye closed, you resemble 12-foot-diameter asteroid. Creatures that have not observed you move must succeed at a DC 26 Perception check to recognize you as a creature. If combat begins while motionless and eye is closed, gain +8 circumstance bonus on initiative. While eye is closed, gain benefit of blindsight 120 ft.

Fast Swallow (Ex) As free action, use swallow whole at any time during your turn, not just at start of turn.

Grab (Ex) If you hit with attack associated with this special attack, deal normal damage and start grapple as free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. Normally, only usable against targets of equal or smaller size. You can either conduct grapple normally or take -20 CMB on future grapple checks on simply use body part to maintain grapple but do not gain grapple condition yourself. A hold does not deal damage unless you have constrict special attack. If you do not, each successful grapple check in successive rounds deals damage for attack initiating the hold. Otherwise, it deals this damage and constrict damage. You receive +4 bonus on CMB to start and maintain a grapple.

Lunge Increase the reach of your melee attacks by 5 feet until the end of your turn by taking a -2 penalty to your AC until your next turn. You must decide to use this ability before any attacks are made.

Power Attack Take -3 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain +6 bonus on all melee damage rolls. Bonus increased by half (+50%) if attacking with a two-handed weapon or a one-handed weapon using two hands. Bonus halved (-50%) if attacking with an off-hand weapon. You must choose to use this feat before making an attack roll, and its effects last until your next turn. Bonus damage does not apply to touch attacks or effects that do not deal hit point damage.

Starflight (Su) Survive in the void of outer space and fly at spelljamming cruising speed, as per a helm. Can carry one or more riders or up to a medium load. Multiple creatures of the same type may achieve starflight speeds together in a herd or school. Although taking no harm in the void, may need to eat, drink, and sleep as normal for creature type.

Swallow Whole (Ex) If you begin your turn with an opponent grappled in your mouth, make combat maneuver check. If successful, opponent at least one size category smaller is swallowed dealing listed damage each round. Target keeps grappled condition, but you do not. Swallowed creature can attempt to cut free using light slashing or piercing weapon; if successful, you cannot swallow another creature until damage is healed. If target breaks grapple, it ends up back in your mouth where it can be bitten or swallowed again.

SOURCE

Converted from Spelljammer 5E

When its large eye and mouth are closed, an eye monger looks like nothing more than a 12-foot-diameter asteroid. When it senses vibrations in the space around it, the eye monger opens its eye and reveals its true, menacing nature.

An eye monger has no use for treasure, but its belly might hold a fair amount of incidental valuables that it can't digest, including coins, metal weapons, gemstones, and magic items that belonged to the creatures it swallowed.

Although an eye monger doesn't project an antimagic cone from its eye as a beholder does, magic is suppressed inside its gullet, which prevents a swallowed creature from using magic to escape.
