Hex Unless otherwise noted, using a hex is a standard action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity and may be used as often as desired.

Healing (Su) Requires touch. Once a creature has benefited from the healing hex, it cannot benefit from it again for 24 hours.

Ward (Su) A witch can use this hex to place a protective ward over one creature. The warded creature receives a +2 deflection bonus to AC and a +2 resistance bonus on saving throws. This ward lasts until the warded creature is hit or fails a saving throw. A witch knows when a warded creature is no longer protected. A witch can have only one ward active at a time. If the witch uses this ability again, the previous ward immediately ends. A witch cannot use this ability on herself.

Point-Blank Shot (Ex) You get a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls with ranged weapons at ranges of up to 30 feet.

Psionic Aptitude When an elan takes a level in a favored class, he can choose to gain an additional power point instead of a hit point or skill point.

Psionic Focus As a full-round action, meditate to gain focus, which provokes attacks of opportunity. Expend focus to power a psionic feat or make a concentration check as if you rolled a 15. Once focused, you remain so until expended or you go unconscious or enter trance. You may still focus if power points are all depleted. You cannot gain multiple benefits from a single expenditure of focus.

Repletion (Su) If you spend 1 power point, you do not need to eat or drink for 24 hours.

Resilience (Su) As an immediate action, reduce damage taken by 2 hit points for every power point you spend.

Resistance (Su) As an immediate action, spend 1 power point to gain a +4 racial bonus on saving throws until the beginning of your next action.

Speed of Thought (Su) While psionically focused and not wearing heavy armor, gain +10 ft. insight bonus to speed. Expend psionic focus to increase bonus to +30 ft. for your turn.

Attach (Ex) When a weasel hits with a bite attack, it automatically grapples its foe, inflicting automatic bite damage each round.

Empathic Link (Ex) The master has an empathic link with his familiar to a 1 mile distance. The master can communicate empathically with the familiar, but cannot see through its eyes. Because of the link's limited nature, only general emotions can be shared. The master has the same connection to an item or place that his familiar does.

Share Spells The wizard may cast a spell with a target of "You" on his familiar (as a touch spell) instead of on himself even if the spell does not normally affect magical beasts.

History Irnadette was born in Varisia and was a promising student of the arcane arts. In fact, she was brilliant, clever, beautiful, and it peak physical condition, which caught the attention of one of her instructors. After several conversations, he determined she would be an excellent candidate for the elan transformation. She traveled to the University of Lepidstadt in Ustalav and studied and was tested for a time before being deemed worthy. She underwent the transformation, which awoke her psionic potential. Irnadette would have been content to simply student psionic talents; however, strange whispers began to fill her head. The wise voice spoke to her of arcane powers and her potential, and she soon sealed a pact of witchery. Now, she seeks to combine the arcane and psionic in powerful new ways.
 
Irnadette is a kind woman who cares about others, but she has some strange mannerisms. She often talks to herself, especially when frustrated. She also truly believes herself better than most people, but not in a malicious way. She just believes she is smarter, faster, and has more potential than others. This causes her to dabble in various skills. She loves to tinker with locks and other mechanical devices. Irnadette is quite skilled in language and speaks at least half a dozen fluently. She is also curious about magic items and can sometimes trick them into working for her. Like all elan, she is very secretive of her nature. She claims to be human, which she once was and pleads ignorance if the topic of elans are brought up.
 
Tactically, Irnadette has a variety of tools at her disposal. She tries to remain psionically focused at all times, which gives her a big boost to her speed and allows her to maintain force screen for additional protection. Irnadette knows her psionics will not hold out long in a fight and so does not spend power needlessly. She prefers to catch a group of enemies in her demoralize effect from the protection of allies and pepper opponents with crossbow bolts. If a particularly powerful or brutal monster appears, such as an ogre, she will augment mind thrust (which attacks Will) in an effort to deal a devastating or lethal blow.
