SALEM NICOLE JENKINS

Caucasian Female

 1. What is your physical description?

I'm obviously a girl. I'm white. Real white... I should probably go outside more and maybe eat more? But girls are supposed to be skinny, right? Slender with long dark hair.

 2. Are you a junior or senior in high school?

I'm a senior. I'm almost out of this place.

 3. How close a friend were you to Janie Prescott, and what is your last memory of her?

I used to live across the street from her. We played together from time to time. The last day I saw her was the day I moved out of my house to move in with my Uncle. She stood at the edge of her driveway and watched as we drove off. It was a tough time. I never waved. I never said goodbye.

 4. School has always been tough for you, but what is the one class you excel at and enjoy?

School can be a drag but Math seems to come easy. Math is like mini puzzles, you know? They're sort of fun.

 5. What is your greatest fear, and how do you react when you face it?

Do you know what it's like to drown? They say when your lungs start to fill with water you basically become a sinking boat and you're screwed! No thanks. Not me. I'm not that athletic. Swimming isn't my strong suit. Ankle deep? No problem. Waist deep? Oh man... my heart is racing just thinking about it.

 6. You, or your family, desperately need money. Why?

My Uncle works on a local fishing boat and things aren't going too well for him. In order to stay out of his way, I need to make my own money.

 7. Sometimes you just need to let off some steam. What illegal and/or dangerous activity has been your outlet, and how do you keep it secret from your family?

Have you ever stolen anything? It's a rush. I pay for stuff... sometimes. When I have the money at least. I'm too good at it to get caught.

 8. You shouldn't be able to do it, you don't even know how you do it, most people wouldn't even believe it possible if they saw you do it. What is it?

After my parents' death, I've been able to see them. Sometimes interact with them. I think I can see dead people. Sometimes they seem so real. Sometimes it's just a light flicker just to let me know they're there. At least I think it's them. I must sound crazy.

 9. Why won't your family acknowledge your existence?

My Uncle sees me as a burden. He didn't ask to take me on. As long as I stay quiet and out of his it's easier for the both of us. My Aunt is too busy with my two younger cousins to even care if I breath.

 10. Your parents' death is a mystery, but not to you. Why not?

Mystery? Officials say they passed away in their sleep. A random, freak occurrence. I know the gist of what actually happened. How? Were you listening when I told you I could see them? They told me. Well, more like they gave me clues. It was poison. That's what I've gathered any way. I haven't been able to iron out the fine details but my father was a business man and a deal went south. I'll eventually get to the bottom of it. What happened to my parents' assets? One day we had something then the next day I'm a financial burden. Something doesn't add up. I think they want me to uncover the full truth. Why else would I be able to see them. Do you agree? You think I'm crazy, don't you? I shouldn't have even said anything.
