1. What is your physical description?

45 years old. 6'0" tall weighing 180 pounds. Blue eyes. Short dark brown hair. Nose is slightly larger than it should be compared to the rest of his facial features. Almost always wears blue jeans and a T-shirt. Has a scar on the left side of his neck starting just under his ear to his collar bone.

2. What is your current occupation, and how did you acquire the skills needed for it?

Alex has been an air traffic controller based at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) for about 5 years. He started flying private planes when he was 16 years old, eventually completed flight school, and landed a job as a pilot at a major airline. However, things took a financial turn with the airline and he was let go after just shy of 20 years on the job. He ended up in ATC after a few months of job searching. Alex uses his nearly 25 years of flight experience in his new job to ensure everyone within his air space is safe.

3. Outside of work, what hobby, interest, or sport occupies most of your time, and why do you find it interesting?

Alex enjoys occasionally giving flight lessons to friends and family for free. He is uninterested in sports unless you count bowling as a sport. He's always loved bowling ever since he was a child. He doesn't have many other hobbies, though, and usually stays home a lot. Ever since discovering the internet, he’s been into online video poker.

4. What motivates you to get out of bed and keep going each day?

Alex's job motivates him to get out of bed every day. He enjoys giving direction to everyone in the sky.

5. What is your greatest fear, and how do you react when you face it?

Alex's absolute greatest fear is making an ass of himself. He fears ridicule from both strangers and friends/family. Whenever this has happened, Alex usually locks up and is unable to say or do much of anything.

6. When people talk about you behind your back, and they do, what are they saying?

Alex surely hopes this isn't happening, but when/if it does happen, Alex probably thinks they're talking about how all he does is work a dead end job and that he is no longer doing much of anything productive.

7. Everyone indulges in something from cheating on a diet to something dangerous; what is your guilty pleasure or vice?

Alex enjoys playing the odds. Gambling, some may call it. He enjoys going to the casinos every couple of months and when he plays, he plays hard. He'll often walk out a few thousand dollars in the hole.

8. What habit do you have that generally offends others?

Alex has this habit correcting people. Correcting them for even small things, really. Oh, that shirt isn’t red? It is maroon? We get it, Alex, leave us alone.

9. Who else knows you are a fraud?

No one. Alex doesn't even think he is a fraud. Perhaps he isn't. Or perhaps he is delusional?

10. As a child, you went camping with your family frequently. Why haven't you been camping in more than 8 years?

Most of Alex's family have passed away over the past decade. It used to be a fun family adventure, but now that members are unable to go, the camping adventures soured.
