Aurum Ironblood is a devotee of Pelor, the sun god. He is a good and kind man
who cares deeply about those around him. He is an adept healer and thought
to be one of the most promising young clerics of the order. Despite his
caring nature, he has also been taught that there is horrible evil in the
world and one must be prepared to defend against it. He favors the spiked chain,
a weapon of particular significance to a follower of a deity who embodies strength;
the chain is as hard as steel, put at the same time it yields and bends as necessary.
The symbolism is very important to the young man.
The young cleric has grown up in the temple of Pelor. His family was killed
by ghouls years ago, orphaning him. He hates the undead and would prefer that
all be put back into the grave where they belong. He takes particular delight
in dousing the living dead with holy water.
Aurum is small in size, but wiry. He moves with grace and precision, and it is
obvious that his mind is equally sharp. He wears his black hair cut close and
wears of goatee. As a representative of his order, he feels it is his duty to
appear well-groomed and not make a fool of himself.
