- Where did you learn your class skills? Training provided by the U.S. government.
- How did you acquire your equipment, and does any of it have special meaning? It was obtained through work with the military and what could be found after the Wave.
- Do you have surviving family? Mother? Father? Siblings? Spouse? Do you stay in touch? Herb had a wife, two daughters and a son. Last he heard they were trying to get out of Scranton, Pennsylvania, but he hasn't heard from anyone in months.
- What is your biggest fear? Well... zombies and heights.
- What makes you laugh out loud? Not much these days other than the random advertisement reminding Herb of life before the Wave.
- What makes you angry? People becoming zombies and trying to kill everyone.
