October 1874: Records of the Sinking Springs United Baptist Church indicate an arm was extended to the vicinity of the Mount Pleasant Meeting House for the purpose of receiving members. ANNA CARNEY received by experience.
November 1875: The Mount Pleasant group was dismissed to constitute a new church, those dismissed from Sinking Springs Church were: ANN CARNEY, Mary Ward
