Game 2: Positive Punishment

Do an undesirable act and an undesirable stimulus (evaluative comment) will be added. Nothing much happens if you are correct.

1.red square white oval
2.black diamond blue circle
3.blue diamond black oval

4.white circle

red parallelogram
5.black triangle blue clover
6. red octagon white rectangle

How did you feel after this trial?

If the statements in the pop-up box truly functioned as a positive punisher for you, you might feel unpleasant in some way and your behavior of clicking would have decreased in some way--perhaps you clicked more tentatively or softer. Or maybe it punished impulsive responding so you perhaps took longer or hesitated. I can't say how your behavior changed because punishers don't teach people what to do, they only teach what to not do. (And this was only 6 choices, maybe not enough to see a change.)

Next game: Negative Reinforcement
