Catalog Description: Advanced analysis techniques appropriate to psychological research. Emphasizes regression analysis, partial correlation, moderated multiple regression, and analysis of covariance.

Course Objectives: By the end of this semester, you will have a clear understanding of all of the topics listed in the above description. Also, you will learn to love these topics. And that's probably more important.

Grading: Two exams will be given in this course. Each exam will count 40% towards the final grade. You will be allowed to use one hand-written 4x6 note card during exams. The remaining 20% of your grade will come from your performance on data analytic projects.

Make-Up Policy: Missing an exam necessitates a make-up exam of a different format than the original exam. In order to take the make-up exam, you must have a documented excuse and you must make me aware of this special situation in advance of the scheduled exam.

Grading Scale: Grades will be assigned the usual A = 89.5 - 100%, B = 79.5 - 89.4%, C = 69.5 - 79.4%, D = 59.5 - 69.4%, F = below 59.5%. No exceptions, although if you are close I will check to see that you not being penalized by rounding.

Classroom Information: The first class in a topic sequence will meet in the regular room. The second class in a topic will meet in the second floor computer lab (Classroom #1). If only one class is scheduled for a given topic, meet in the computer lab.
