0) You have already saved in a folder named 'MLNG420' on your hard drive your Journal and your completed Questionnaire.

1) Open My Computer or Explorer from the Start menu (review the PowerPoint on file management, if necessary) and capture with the Print Screen key (PrtSc) a view of your hardrive, showing the folder 'MLNG420' in its context on the hard drive (see example). Open your graphics application like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop Elements, or Windows Paint, if you do not yet have any other such application. Paste your capture screen image from the Paste option. Name the image 'MLNG420-1'. Save 'MLNG420-1'. Save it as a JPEG or GIF file (*.jpg or *.gif). The file will have the name 'MLNG420-1.jpg' or 'MLNG420-1.gif'. Place it in your folder named 'MLNG420' on your hard drive and place it in your Journal on the My Graphics slide.

2) Return to My Computer or Explorer from the Start menu and capture with the Print Screen key (PrtSc) a view of your 'MLNG420' from within (see example).Open your graphics application like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop Elements, or Windows Paint, if you do not yet have any other such application. Paste your capture screen image from the Paste option. Name the image 'MLNG420-2'. Save 'MLNG420-2'. Save it as a JPEG or GIF file (*.jpg or *.gif). The file will have the name 'MLNG420-2.jpg' or 'MLNG420-2.gif'.Place it in your folder named 'MLNG420' on your hard drive and place it in your Journal on the My Graphics slide.

3) Scan a photo of yourself and place the resulting picture in your Journal on the My Graphics slide. (alternative: a photo of yourself taken with a digital camera.)

4) Find some clip art relating to teachers. Look within Microsoft Office, either through Word or PowerPoint, or go to Microsoft's Web resources. Place three clip art pictures relating to teachers on the My Graphics slide of your Journal.

3) Participate in the Blackboard Discussion Board topic: Why have technology standards been imposed on teachers? Which of them will you be addressing over the three weeks of this course?

4) Enter and edit Journal data for Weds., June 22. Place the Journal in the digital dropbox. And do no more to it until I send it back to you.
