What would make you happy?

Being able to live a satisfied, healthy, worthwhile, honest life …graduating nursing school and working in Nashville at a surgical hospital…being able to spend more time with my family…everyone being nice…getting married, starting a family… teaching and owning a house of my own…success doing a job I love, being with family, having great friends, no worries…reaching my goals…feeling good about what you are doing…satisfaction that something can be achieved each day…knowing that someone else's life has been influenced positively by my actions or words…life with a husband that treats me well, having a good job…being around people who understand me…success according to high standards…love…having people surrounding you with love and care, those you can rely on…successful in a career of my own choosing that I truly enjoy…

Being content with what I have…being involved in my church and community…being able to trust someone and now they cared for me as I care for them…it does not take much…seeing my family live a long happy life…security for myself…having love, peace…being who I want to become through raising and watching my children grow with spirituality and being responsible young adults…good steady job, two kids, a great home with my husband…having a large farm in the country with a decent house and a swimming pool…make my life a benefit to others…being a compassionate nurse, a loving wife and mother and having a regret-free life, knowing I was the best person I could be…live somewhere else, support myself…good relationship with family and friends…personal excellence of body, mind, and spirit, knowing what the meaning of my life is…

Not having to worry about money…house in BG near my family…being with my boyfriend and winning the lottery… becoming a person that helps others around me…to live a long life in which I have made some difference that betters the world, live up to moral standards…have healthy children…see more love in the world…to own a sailboat and said the world…having a meaningful career that will have me financially stable, getting a job…living more worry-free, having a joyful relationship and children that are raised well…to know what I wanted to be when I grew up…to have successful relationships with my significant other, my peers, and my parents…if the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl in 2010-2011, if I was able to sample one of the best beers in the world, if I got a 4.0 this semester…have a solid plan for my future…the chance to do what I love for a living, perhaps teaching or life coaching.

What is necessary for one to be able to say (at age 50) "I've lived a worthwhile life"?

They'd have to be satisfied with whatever life they'ved lived, whether it was to help people or make a lot of money… be successful, have humility…to have accomplished the goal one has set for oneself…if I had a stable family of my own with a good husband and kids, was able to build a home to raise my children in and if I had a stable career that allowed me to help others…having no regrets…being happily married to the [person] of my dreams, have three healthy children, and be successful in my occupation…if you have lived and loved to your fullest potential, to feel you have used your talents/skills successfully in life, that you have developed those to the best of your ability, to have cultivated good, lasting relationships with friends and family, used your mind and body to the good of self and others…

Lived adventurously and under my own terms, done something good for someone other than my family and friends, have a broader perspective [on] life in general…enjoying every aspect of life, experiencing motherhood…conquering fears, no divorce… knowing that I accomplished most of my goals while living happily with family and friends… good job, good memories, life lessons, impact on others…influenced at least one person in a positive direction…that you have loved and received love, raised successful children, had offspring and spread your genes… been happy at no one else's expense and contributed to the world…married best friend, raised a family or two, taught a generation how to acquire and maintain their logos and faculties…being able to look back and smile at the life one has lived…being happy and content with my life, achieve my goals and live to talk about it…

One has to do things that challenged them or scared them… having all the means and necessities you need for living…having enhanced the community by helping those in need, training their children to be servants (in the Christian sense, like doers of good)…if you made one person smile… having loved unconditionally… probably be happily married or with someone significant, and just knowing that the people around you care about you and will support you for the rest of your life… being right with God…having held a stable job and being a good provider for loved ones… having led an adventurous life or being satisfied with the [not very adventurous?] life they had; they finished a portion of their wish list [for life]…successful in my career and having influenced as many children as I can in a positive way…keep the respect of my future colleagues, students and students' parents…knowing that if you passed away your family [would have] good memories of you ]…reached my full potential, enjoy my life and have no regrets…to have done all the "tops" [top things on my list], paint a mural, travel [to/in?] Europe, peace corps, have happy, healthy children that consider themselves successful in whatever they do.
