White Bone Demon was very excited over the monk’s arrival, but also apprehensive. She knew what a formidable foe Sun Wukong was. The mere thought of his iron rod sent a chill through her already cold spine. She felt tormented by both temptation for etermity and fear for a quick death. How could she snatch Tang Seng without being harmed by his monkey bodyguard? Suddenly, she found the answer in the bloodless bodies of her victims lying in the corner of her den.

When Ba Jie was busy exploring the basket, the girl inched towards Tang Seng and was about to … when Sun Wukong plunged himself between in front of her. His penetrating eyes saw the true nature of a demon disguised as a girl. She was none other than the White Bone Deman. Without hesitation, Sun Wukong struck and killed her. Sure enough, Tang Seng was appalled at the killing, and began to punish Wukong by tightening the magic ring on his head with his incantation. Only after Wukong's repeated plea and explanation did Tang Seng stop.

The party resumed their journey and was about to reach the foot of the White Tiger Mountain when they caught the sight of a cottage and an elderly man tiptoeing at its gate as if to expect some members of his family...
