Scholarly and Teaching Interests:
I am completing a book, The Tour: France’s Bicycle Race in the Global Era, that places the history of the classic sporting event into a global context.
I enjoy teaching a variety of undergraduate courses including our Western Civilization survey, 20th Century Europe, History of Sport, History of Popular Culture, and Introduction to Popular Culture Studies. I teach graduate seminars on 20th Century Europe and Historiography.
