APACHE CHIEF
by Davy Stone
Chip originally bought this figure off the discount racks because he wanted the accessories.  But after comparing him with the control art from the old Superfriends series, it was too good a match not to try.

I started by slicing off his sash (I'm sure he wouldn't call it a sash, but I'm not a Native American, so I don't know what to call it).  Then, I scalped his mohawk, and finally I dremelled his "skirt" so that it hit him at the knee instead of mid-calf.  That was the toughest part.  Because the skirt was all one solid piece of plastic, I had to carve out his upper legs where none had existed before.

My biggest complaint about this figure is that he's the same size as everone else despite his growing power.  If I didn't already have him in my fodder box, I would have looked for a larger figure.  But I still think it was an ideal base.
