Guidelines and Requirements
for Research Papers
One evaluative tool in the course is a research paper. Each
student
will select a topic related to New World prehistory and research that
topic
in the archaeological literature. Topics must be cleared by the
instructor.
The research project will be completed in stages via three
assignments:
paper proposal, paper outline, and final paper. More information
about the research paper is provided on the following web pages;
students
are expected to review all of this information.
Please visit me during office hours if you have any questions about the
requirements for the research paper. Have fun with your research!
