THYLACOMYIDAE
(Bilbies)

The marsupial family Thylacomyidae, Order Peramelemorphia, consists of a
single
(or possibly two, though another species, M. leucura, is probably
extinct) living
species, Macrotis lagotis, the Greater Bilby.
Its exact current range is not
known, though it has been reduced considerably over the past one
hundred years.
