PLATACANTHOMYIDAE

The Platacanthomyidae is a small family of rodents, Superfamily Muroidea, with two living
representatives in two genera, Platacanthomys (southern India), and Typhlomys
(southern China and northern Vietnam). Distribution in China is not well documented.
