  • Quietus 1—Silence of Death ● Radiate mystical silence, no sound occurs inside this zone, though sounds originating outside the area of effect may be heard by anyone in it. ● System This power (which costs one blood point to activate) maintains a 20-foot (6-meter) radius of utter stillness around the Kindred for one hour. ● V20, pg. 203.
  • Quietus 2—Scorpion's Touch ● Turn your blood to poison. ● System Spend at least one blood point and roll Willpower (difficulty 6). If successful and attack hits, target loses Stamina equal to number of blood points converted to poison (resisted with Stamina + Fortitude, difficulty 6). The max convertable at one time equals your Stamina. Blood must be delivered by touch, by melee weapon, kiss, or be spit. Spit requires Stamina + Athletics (difficulty 6), at most two blood points, and a distance of 10 feet per point of Strength and Potence. ● V20, pg. 203.
  • Quietus 3—Dagon's Call ● Kill opponent with his own blood from within. ● System Touch target and within one hour activate the call; does not require line of sight. Costs one Willpower and make contested Stamina roll, with the difficulty each other's permanent Willpower rating. The number of your successes is the number of lethal damage dealt to the victim. Continuing to expend one Willpower per turn allows the attack to persist. ● V20, pg. 204.
  • Quietus 4—Baal's Caress ● Coat weapon in blood and convert it to aggrevated damage. ● System Coat a bladed weapon with one or more blood points. Each hit with the weapon uses a single blood point. ● V20, pg. 204.

Hakim al-Bariq Appearance — Quiet and observant, with dark skin and an athletic build, Hakim rarely smiles. His hair is short, and he moves with calculated precision.
Mannerisms — Hakim is ever alert and scans every room and environment for potential threats. He never sits with his back to a door or window.
History — Hakim was born to kill. He did not know it until his days in the North Yemen Civil War. In one encounter, he found himself out of ammunition with nothing but his knife. He single-handedly took down five men. Unbeknownst to him, he watched the entire time. Impressed, the fearsome vampire assassin, al-Rashid, Embraced him that very night. Hakim embarked on a regimen of brutal training to make him a Sword of Caine. He honed his talents among the kine and moved on to slaying Kindred. He was assigned to Jean-Luc's pack as both a guardian and watcher. The deadly warrior teaches his skills to his packmates and insists on sparring frequently.
