Murder, Kidnapping in Everett

(IIN) — Shocking violence rocked Hunting Ridge, one of the few upper scale neighborhoods in the Everett district. The home of Ronnie Sarkoza, owner of Sarkoza Import Ventures, was broken into, and his daughter, Ashley Sarkoza kidnapped.

Mr. Sarkoza is flying back from Japan where he was handling several business deals. He had left his daughter in the care of Red Hawk Security, a privately-owned security and bodyguard service. During the assault, Red Hawk personnel exchanged fire with the kidnappers. Johnathan Teager, a 3-year veteran employee, was killed in the firefight.

Knight Errant reports the intruders entered both through a back bedroom window and through an exhaust vent in the attic. At least one GM-Nissan doberman drone was used by the attackers. The home security system appears to have been disabled remotely.

"It appears the kidnappers took their time. We believe they used an empty house down the street to stage their attack," claims Detective Gregory Braun of Knight Errant, "Once they got inside, they grabbed the girl and used flash-bang devices to disorient Red Hawk. We believe the kidnappers tased her before retreating."

KE employees confirmed the security system on the vacant house was compromised at around 9:00 p.m. The Sarkoza household security node was shut off at around 10:00 p.m.

"We probably would have thought this was an inside job the way the alarm was just turned off," states Detective Braun, "However, the house down the street led us to investigate deeper. We really believe a hacker brought down both systems."

Red Hawk employees described the assailants as a well-built man in a chameleon suit approximately 5 foot 11 inches tall and an 8 foot male troll wearing medium body armor and a ski mask. The troll was armed with a sword while the other man appeared unarmed.

"The smaller man was incredible. He crashed through the ceiling, dropped some kind of flash pak, and then disarmed Frankie, broke his nose, and knocked him out in one fluid movement," recalls Brody Tanner, a 7-year Red Hawk veteran.

The doberman drone was heavily armed and armored and is believed responsible for the death of Mr. Teager. Nearly three dozen rounds were fired from the drone during the attack. Red Hawk personnel claim to have shot the drone repeatedly to no effect.

"We do have a lead, the van used as the getaway vehicle was driven right by the Red Hawk team. The van has not been reported stolen and seems to be licensed to a Mr. Jim Beam. We do not know his level of involvement, if any, but he is a person of interest in this case," says Detective Braun.

According to Jim Beam's SIN description, he is a male dwarf of African American and Asian decent with no criminal record. There is not a photograph on file. Knight Errant is encouraging Mr. Beam to come forward and speak to them about this case. The escape vehicle is described as a black GMC Bulldog Step-Van. The kidnappers have not contacted the police with any demands. It is unknown if they have made any sort of ransom terms to Mr. Sarkoza.

Sarkoza Import Ventures employs seventeen people and primarily brings in electronics from Japan. SIV has been in operation for 22 years.
