 Character History: Roondar Blackrock grew up in Mithril Hall. His family came to Mithril Hall to warn the Dwarven people of an impending attack from the orc war parties in hopes of forming an alliance. His father fought alongside the Hammers of Moridan in defending Mithril Hall.
Roondar earned the name "Badger" at a very early age. Because of his small stature, as a young gnome he was often asked to play the badger in a game called badger barreling. People would put "badgers" into barrels and then begin to roll them. Then "dogs" were sent after the badgers. The badgers would run in the barrels, and the dogs would chase them until they got close enough to jump on the barrel with the badger in it. For a very long time, he felt like an outsider, and his diminutive height was a constant reminder that he wasn't like those around him, just someone they accepted.
As time passed, he became more reclusive and suspicious. He grew very close to his immediate family but trusted few others. He belongs to a long line of rangers and spies. He took up this banner and trained to do the same. The training provided him was heavily geared toward stealth and archery skills. But in his free time he also studied to learn psionic powers to enhance his stealth abilities.
He is traveling to test himself. He seeks not only to try out his powers of speed and stealth against the physical strength of larger creatures, but also to test his own moral limits. As he knows that he is capable of stealing from humans and other creatures that can't hope to compete with his powers of stealth, and he is trying to seek some rationale for why he shouldn't take advantage of this superiority.
