 Character History: Growing up in the hot desert sands of Calimshan tempered Kaganis into a fierce, independent warrior. He has an affinity for fiery magic and moves with the grace of flowing desert sand. He learned his swordsmanship from an akashic hermit who taught him to be one with his blade and strike true with every swing. Kaganis spent some time as a hunter for his tribe until his desire to learn of the world drove him to take a ship out of Calimport headed north.
Kaganis spent several years working as a mercenary and caravan guard. His blade took the life of numerous orcs, goblins, giants and other miscreants over the years. Eventually, he traveled to Myth Drannor with a group of treasure hunters. They enjoyed about a week of success, including discovering a magical ring allowing the wearer to walk through the fiercest flames. Unfortunately, just as they prepared to leave Myth Drannor, a green dracolich waylaid the party and slaughtered everyone but Kaganis who survived because he fell through a weakened floor and crashed into a basement. It took him three days of wandering to find another exit. Now lost in Myth Drannor, Kaganis seeks a way out of the city.
