 Special Attacks/Qualities:
Arrow Stab (Ex): The Bowman gains the ability to use an arrow as a melee weapon without penalty.
Background Traits: +1 attack rolls with longbow.
Camouflage (Ex): A mystic ranger can use the Hide skill in any sort of natural terrain, even if the terrain doesn't grant cover or concealment.
Close Combat Shot (Ex): An initiate can attack with a ranged weapon while in a threatened square and not provoke an attack of opportunity.

Elf Traits: Automatically attempt a Search check when within 5 ft. of a secret or concealed door; immunity to magic sleep effects; low-light vision; +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells or effects.
Evasion (Ex): A mystic ranger can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If he makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, he instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the mystic ranger is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless mystic ranger does not gain the benefit of evasion.
Favored Enemies (Ex): +4 favored enemies—dragon, outsider (evil) and undead; +2 favored enemies—giant.
Hide in Plain Sight (Ex): While in any sort of natural terrain, a mystic ranger of 17th level or higher can use the Hide skill even while being observed.
Lightning Draw (Ex): The Bowman gains Quick Draw as a bonus feat. If the Bowman already possesses Quick Draw, the Bowman instead gains a +2 competence bonus on Initiative checks.
Ranged Precision (Ex): As a standard action, an initiate may make a single precisely aimed attack with a ranged weapon, dealing an extra 5d8 points of damage if the attack hits. When making a ranged precision attack, an initiate must be within 60 feet of his target. An initiate's ranged precision attack only works against living creatures with discernible anatomies. Any creature that is immune to critical hits (including undead, constructs, oozes, plants, and incorporeal creatures) is not vulnerable to a ranged precision attack, and any item or ability that protects a creature from critical hits (such as armor with the fortification special ability) also protects a creature from the extra damage.
Unlike with a rogue's sneak attack, the initiate's target does not have to be flat-footed or denied its Dexterity bonus, but if it is, the initiate's extra precision damage stacks with sneak attack damage. Treat the initiate's ranged precision attack as a sneak attack in all other ways.
An initiate can only use this ability with a ranged weapon for which he has taken the Weapon Focus feat.
Range Sneak Attack: Starting at 2nd level, and only when using a longbow or shortbow, the Bowman may make a ranged sneak attack. This ability functions exactly like the rogue sneak attack ability, except that all targets must be within 60 feet and no closer then 10 feet.
Swift Tracker (Ex): A mystic ranger can move at his normal speed while following tracks without taking the normal –5 penalty. He takes only a –10 penalty (instead of the normal –20) when moving at up to twice normal speed while tracking.
Warrior's Path: Levels in Bowman count as fighter levels toward feat prerequisites, but only when these feats are taken for bows. For example a 6th level fighter / 6th level Bowman qualifies for Greater Weapon Specialization (longbow), which has a prerequisite of a 12th level fighter.
Wild Empathy (Ex): A mystic ranger can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person. The ranger rolls 1d20 and adds his ranger level and his Charisma bonus to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.
To use wild empathy, the mystic ranger and the animal must be able to study each other, which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal visibility conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute, but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
The mystic ranger can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but he takes a –4 penalty on the check.
Woodland Stride (Ex): A mystic ranger may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at his normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. However, thorns, briars, and overgrown areas that are enchanted or magically manipulated to impede motion still affect him.
