Cause Overreach (Ex): To use this maneuver, you must provoke an attack of opportunity from a foe by moving out of a threatened square. If the foe misses you, you can make a free trip attempt against this foe, and the foe does not get a chance to trip you if your attempt fails.

 Character History: Barthan Axemaster is from Storm Horn and proudly hails from Cormyr. He comes from a long line of Clan Leaders and an even longer line of Dwarvan Defenders. While growing up he had to train to protect the city while his father, uncles, older brothers and cousins went to fight Tuigan Hord. While they were gone he was able to distinguish himself from the other members of the clan his age and became a natural leader in the clan while the Defenders were gone.
Upon there return he began to ascend into through the ranks. When the attack of the Red Dragon came he was ready and willing to prove his skills. Though they were able to protect numerous dwarvan clans to some extent, great suffering for Barthan's people followed this time. To make matters worse his family felt a strong loss with the death of the king. His father had known the ruler of Cormyr for decades and still mourns the loss of his country's leader. Barthan has always held dragons responsible for both the suffering of his people and in particular his father.
He became quite astute at hunting and killing dragons. He is best serving his father, his people and civilization killing these wretched creatures. The best dragon is a dead dragon and when able, he'll take out a hill giant just for the better good. He will one day return to his clan and assume his seat at the hall of leaders... but only after he has slain many many more dragons.

Eyes of Doom: These crystal lenses fit over the user’s eyes, enabling him to cast doom upon those around him (one target per round) as a gaze attack, except that the wearer must take a standard action, and those merely looking at the wearer are not affected. Those failing a DC 11 Will save are affected as by the doom spell. If the wearer has only one lens, the DC of the saving throw is reduced to 10. However, if the wearer has both lenses, he gains the additional power of a continual deathwatch effect and can use fear (Will DC 16 partial) as a normal gaze attack once per week.
Horn of Blasting: This horn appears to be a normal trumpet. It can be sounded as a normal horn, but if the command word is spoken and the instrument is then played, it deals 5d6 points of sonic damage to creatures within a 40-foot cone and causes them to be deafened for 2d6 rounds (a DC 16 Fortitude save reduces the damage by half and negates the deafening). Crystalline objects and creatures take 7d6 points of sonic damage, with no save unless they’re held, worn, or carried by creatures (Will DC 16 negates).
If a horn of blasting is used magically more than once in a given day, there is a 20% cumulative chance with each extra use that it explodes and deals 10d6 points of damage to the person sounding it.
