    • Doomblight - Vast Swamp - Mysterious druid, leading an army of orcs and lizardfolk engaged in skirmishes with the Purple Dragons of Cormyr; black half-dragon orc druid who can wild shape; escaped the party in the Vast Swamp by taking the form of a falcon and fleeing through an open window. Has ties to Matron T'sarran and arranged to have her brother restored to life. She encountered the party again in the Underdark while they travelled towards Lich's Mire. They fought until the party proved she was being double-crossed.
    • Dorina T'sarran - Szith Morcane - High priestess of Szith Morcane; vampire; slain by the party in Szith Morcane; party observed her resurrection during a scrying and watched her be turned back into a vampire; has fought against the party in Castle Maerimydra numerous times.
    • "Head Ripper" - Deceased - Maerimydra - Mysterious four-armed creature seen while party scried Matron T'sarran; ripped the head off a vampire; Doomblight says he's some sort of priest; a captured drow indicated he is a draegloth, which Generix suspects is a drow/demon crossbreed.

    • Solom Ned'razak - Szith Morcane - Archmage of the city; head of the Inverted Tower; has struck a bargain with the PCs to aid them in destroying the priestesses of Kiaransalee if they will continue the pursuit in Maerimydra. Promises to provide riding lizards and supplies for the trip.
    • Susztam Mar-Shinn - Szith Morcane - Head student of the Inverted Tower; questioned PCs after they were found in the bazaar area.

Adventure Information

  • Tasked by Randall Morn to stop the drow invasions from the Dordrien Crypts.
  • Party has 3,880 gp of free healing available at the temple of Tyr in Dagger Falls.
  • Party discovered five drow corpses stripped of weapons and armor. Party buried the drow in the crypts and then proceeded to rob the graves of the Dordriens.
  • Lolth, Demon Queen of Spiders, is "missing"; her home is the Demonweb Pits in the Abyss; Eilistraee is Lolth's daughter.

The stone giant's group were the bad guys; the sphere is the fane, which contains an egg, but not a dragon egg; the Black Orcs were not guarding the fane; Tobias is a bad guy and not telling all he knows, dubious trustworthiness; Black Covenant will come for the egg; the egg will give rise to a living creature; the fane is unnatural and from this plane and can be destroyed, but it can be used for good; Covenant on its way; heat is not all protecting the fane; Tobias does not serve the Covenant.
    2. Divinations were accurate; the half-white dragon frost giant served the Black Covenant; rain will cool the crater; the Badgers can attempt to extract the egg; Tobias is capturing the souls of dragons and knows it; Tobias intends to take the egg, which is his mission and was in cahoots with the stone giant party; it is unknown if Tobias intends to harm the party; the party can bury the sphere, which is wise; additional Covenant are coming within 17 hours; no more members of the stone giant party.
