Combat Options
  • Coordinated Shot When making a ranged attack against a foe who has cover due to the position of your ally or allies, your ranged attacks ignore the Armor Class bonus granted to the target because of that cover. Cover from other sources is unaffected.
  • Dead Shot When using a ranged weapon against a target taking advantage of cover, the target is considered 1 cover category less.
  • Pinpoint Accuracy By spending a full-round action doing nothing else but aiming at a target, the archer gains a +2 circumstance bonus to his attack roll against that target. (Aiming can last up to three rounds, or the character's Wisdom bonus in rounds, whichever is less, for a maximum of +6 to the attack roll on the fourth round.) The archer must use a full-attack action to make one attack that receives this bonus and he cannot be in an area threatened by an enemy while aiming or making the attack.
  • Point Blank Shot +1 attack and damage with ranged weapons when within 30 ft. of target.
  • Power Shot When using any bow, subtract a number from your attack roll and add the same number to your damage roll. Like a power attack, this affects every shot you take until your next turn.
  • Primary Weapon Gain +5 competence bonus to attack with longbows.
  • +1 racial attack bonus with longbows
  • Ranged Sneak Attack (Ex) up to 60 ft. away; +2d6 damage
  • ring of dragonshape (     ) 1/day—As a standard action, polymorph into a young gold dragon for 1 hour. Dismissed as a standard action.
  • Second Wind (Ex) (     ) 1/encounter—As a move action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity, choose one of the following effects: cure self of 31equal to character level x 1.5 hit points, gain a +6+1 plus +1/four character levels bonus to a single attack roll, gain a +6+1 plus +1/four character levels bonus to a single weapon damage roll, gain a +6+1 plus +1/four character levels bonus to a single skill check, gain a +1 bonus to a single spell DC, regain 10character level/2 mana points, or reduce the mana cost of a single spell by 2 (minimum cost of 1). Bonuses must apply to a standard action taken, and completed, in the same round Second Wind is activated. Second Wind may only be utilized during combat.
  • Sharp Shooting Peerless archer's targets receive cover or concealment two steps worse than they should.

Special Qualities
  • Animal Voice (Ex) Speaking an animal's language allows rudimentary communication with the creature, which, although usually friendly and helpful to one who speaks its tongue, is not in any way under the archer-ranger's control. The archer-ranger also gains a +2 circumstance bonus on Wild Empathy, Handle Animal and Ride checks relating to any animal or beast whose language she can speak.
  • Camouflage (Ex) An archer-ranger can use the Sneak skill in any sort of natural terrain, even if the terrain doesn't grant cover or concealment.
  • Evasion (Ex) If he makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, he instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the ranger is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless ranger does not gain the benefit of evasion.
  • Fletcher (Ex) The archer-ranger gains a competence bonus on all Craft (bowyer) checks equal to +7one-half the archer-ranger's class level (rounded down).
  • Fletching (Su) Create +3 magic arrows as if possessing the Craft Magic Arms and Armor feat.
  • Improved Track (Ex) If the ranger fails a Survival check attempting to track, he can retry after half the normal time required (30 min. outdoors or 5 min. indoors). Further, the ranger can track while moving his normal speed without suffering the -5 penalty.
  • Moon Elf Traits An elf who merely passes within 5 feet of a secret or concealed door is entitled to a Search check to notice it as if she were actively looking for it; immune to ghoul paralysis.
  • Swift Tracker (Ex) An archer-ranger can move at his normal speed while following tracks without taking the normal -5 penalty. He takes only a -10 penalty (instead of the normal -20) when moving at up to twice normal speed while tracking.
  • Woodland Stride (Ex) The ranger may move through natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain at her normal speed without suffering damage or other impairment. Thorns, briars and overgrown areas that are enchanted or magically manipulated to impede motion still affect the archer-ranger normally. This ability cannot be used in heavy armor.

Miscellaneous Information
 HistorySyvarius Strongbow was born in the High Forest northeast of the Star Mounts. He was taught by a master of Archery until he was around 60 years old. He then traveled to the Forest of Cormanthor, where he met up with an aged ranger who taught Syvarius everything he knew. After the death of his ranger friend, at the age of 100, he grew restless and returned home to the High Forest. Upon his return he had discovered that his parents had been murdered during a gnoll raid on his homeland. Devastated by their deaths, Syvarius vowed that he would not rest until he avenged the loss of his parents. Relocating to Daggerford, Syvarius works The Trade Way searching for clues to the location of the gnoll clan responsible for his parents deaths.
