Biographical Information
Height 5 ft. 10 in.; Weight 210 lb.; Age 20; Hair Brown; Eyes Blue
Patron Deity Tempus; Homeland Daggerford; Heritage 100% Human; Background Daggerford Militia

Character History Tarran Telfar was born in the humble town of Daggerford. His childhood home was full of order, and the healthy respect for the law, and for the dogma of Tyr. His brother was one of the youngest militia members to make officer, and his father was one of the few folks in these parts who earned his living as a ranking officer of the militia. Tarran found early success in the militia, but quickly found his childhood disdain for order and rule resurfaced and he found himself often in trouble with the establishment, and in this case his father. In a humiliating moment for father and son, Tarran's father was forced to strip him of his rank, in front of the entire militia for what was later characterized as conduct unbecoming of an officer. Tarran is still required to report for duty to the militia when summonsed by his father, but both hope that this will not be needed.

Tarran now makes his living escorting traders on the trade trail between Daggerford and Waterdeep. He has often fought and killed orcs, goblins, and the like. He has no respect for the way they fight, nor has he any love these "animals".
Tarran was introduced to the followers of Tempus in Waterdeep at the House of Heroes, and he makes it a point to stop by and pay homage to the god of Battle anytime he finds himself in a town with a shrine or temple. He has a lot to learn about the dogma and teachings of Tempus but he respects the emphasis worth in battle, as opposed to adherence to man's law.
Tarran yearns to make a name for himself, and to find his treasure. Wealth and notoriety would be the ultimate way to prove his father's life style inferior to his own evolving life and style.
